Description:
The real single layer ITO touch panel,
compared to the panel which used metal crossover structure, save two
Photolithography in produce process, so the cost can lower 30%. Today, this
single layer ITO structure touch panel which mainly uses the triangular pattern
electrodes is widely applied in inexpensive products. In China , 130
million affordable mobile phones which use single layer ITO electrode sold each
year. However, when panel size increases, the accuracy of single layer ITO
touch panel will be substantially reduced, so it can only be used in
small-sized products, but not be used in the tablet and Ultra book.
The purpose of the present invention is to
solve this problem. First, applying conservation of energy to measure the ITO
electrode's resistance value and converting it into a distance value to obtain
the coordinate of one axis, then, by measuring the difference in capacitance
value to get a coordinate of another axis. The method of present invention
can be applied to produce single-layer structure of ITO touch panel without
size limitation, from 3.5 inches to 80 inches can be. So, it is the best
solution for entering the cheap tablet and Ultra book market.
SUMMARY
OF THE PATENT:
The present invention relates to a
capacitive touch panel device which include a touch panel, a multiplexer, a 1ST
switch, a 2nd switch, a 3rd switch, a 4th switch,
a resistor, a capacitor, an analog to digital converter and an Integrator circuit.
The touch panel comprises a plurality of conductive lines and the multiplexer
is electrically connected to the plurality of conductive lines. The 1ST switch is
electrically connected to the multiplexer, the 2nd switch, a capacitor and the
3rd switch; the 2nd switch is electrically connected to the 1ST
switch, a capacitor, the resistor and the Integrator circuit; the 3rd
switch is electrically connected to a voltage source, the 4th
switch, a capacitor and 1st switch; the 4th switch is
electrically connected to the analog to digital converter, the 3rd
switch and Integrator circuit. The present invention is to utilize the
principle of conservation of energy for designing of touch panel device; to avoid
the Induced capacitance changes caused by touch area changes, thereby improving
the accuracy of position detection and the production yield.
